The SSO portal gives citizens, businesses and public employees access to 100+ public services through a single login. This guide covers registration, login steps, key features, required documents, available services, SSO Rajasthan mobile app and help desk support to help you get started easily and safely.

If you are applying for a government job, checking your scholarship status, downloading your exam admit card, and paying your utility bill all from a single account, without having to remember five different usernames and passwords. That is exactly what the SSO ID login system makes possible in Rajasthan.

The System Launched by the Government of Rajasthan under the Digital India initiative, the SSO Portal (sso.rajasthan.gov.in) is a one-stop digital platform linking hundreds of government services. Whether you are a student, a job aspirant, a business owner, or a government employee, your Raj SSO ID is the single key to the entire Rajasthan e-governance ecosystem.

OVERVIEW

SSO Portal Rajasthan, officially known as Rajasthan Single Sign-On Portal, is a centralized e-governance platform built and maintained by the Department of Information Technology & Communications (DoIT&C), Government of Rajasthan. It is available at www.sso.rajasthan.gov.in.

Before the SSO portal was launched, citizens had to create and manage separate logins for each government portal, be it RSMSSB, RPSC, e-Mitra, grant portal or mining department. The sso id rajasthan login portal changes this by consolidating access under a single, unified digital identity.

Today, the portal supports over 100 government services under categories including recruitment, health, land, education, welfare, corporate compliance and internal government operations. It serves millions of users across Rajasthan and is considered one of the most successful state-level e-governance initiatives in India.

🆔It is a unique digital identity
A username along with a password – that allows you to log in once to the SSO portal of the Government of Rajasthan and access all connected government services without requiring separate credentials for each.

📅Importance in everyday context
Think of it as a master key. One key, hundreds of doors. Instead of remembering separate passwords for your scholarship portal, your RPSC exam account, your e-Mitra profile and your land record account, you remember just one ID and password and that unlocks them all.

❓Meaning of It
ID meaning in Hindi is “Single Single-Online Identity”, a unified digital identity used to authenticate a user across multiple public platforms simultaneously.

An example ID looks like the username you choose at the time of registration, often your name combined with numbers (Example: ramesh2025), or it can be automatically generated from your Aadhaar or Jan Aadhaar number.

1

Log In to the Account You Want to Keep

Sign in at sso.rajasthan.gov.in using your primary ID — the one you want to retain permanently.

2

Open Profile Settings

Click your profile icon (top right of the dashboard) and look for “Merge IDs” or “Combine multiple IDs”.

3

Enter the Secondary

Type the secondary ID that you want to merge into your primary account.

4

Verify Ownership via OTP

An OTP is sent to the mobile number associated with the secondary ID. Enter this to confirm ownership.

5

Confirm Merge

Review the details and click “Confirm Merge”. All data from the secondary ID transfers to the primary account. The secondary ID is permanently disabled.

Warning: The merging process is irreversible. Once two SSO IDs are merged, they cannot be separated. Make sure you have selected the correct primary ID before confirming.

Update Jan Aadhaar with SSO ID

Linking your Jan Aadhaar ID expands your access to state welfare schemes, simplifies identity verification and makes recovery much easier.

1

Go to sso.rajasthan.gov.in and login to your account.

2

Open Edit Profile

Click your profile icon (top right) and select “Update Profile” or “Edit identity details”.

3

Enter Jan Aadhaar Number

Find the Jan Aadhaar field in the Identification section. Enter your 10-digit family ID.

4

Verify via OTP & Save

An OTP will be sent to your Jan Aadhaar-linked mobile. Enter it and click Save — your ID is now linked.

Benefit: Once linked, your Jan Aadhaar becomes a secondary login method. It enables automatic completion of personal data in application forms, saving time and reducing errors.

SSO ID (Single Sign-On Identity) is a unique username-password pair giving you access to 100+ Rajasthan Government services through a single login. Without it, you must create separate accounts on each government portal. With it you can apply for jobs, download admit cards, apply for scholarships, pay bills and much more — all from one account at sso.rajasthan.gov.in.

Visit sso.rajasthan.gov.in, click “Register”, select your user category (citizen, industrial or government employee), select your identity proof (Jan Aadhaar, Aadhaar, Google or Facebook), verify through OTP, and enter username and password. The process is free and takes less than 5 minutes.

Yes. Login with your preferred primary SSO ID, navigate to Profile → Merge SSO ID, enter the secondary SSO ID and verify via OTP. Once verified, the secondary ID is deactivated and all data is transferred to the primary account. This process is permanent and cannot be reversed — choose your primary ID carefully before proceeding.

On the SSO login page, click “Forgot Password” to reset using your registered mobile or email OTP. To recover a forgotten SSO ID, click “Forgot SSO ID” and verify with your Aadhaar or Jan Aadhaar number — your SSO ID will then be displayed on screen. You can also call the helpline 0141-5153-222 for assisted recovery.

Yes. Anyone can create an SSO ID using a Google/Gmail account. While many services are for Rajasthan residents only, candidates from other states need an SSO ID for RPSC/RSSB jobs. Out-of-state candidates are treated as General category (₹600 OTR fee) regardless of home-state category.
